Lab Sessions of INTRODUCTION TO VHDL-FPGA course will start on 3.10.2022 in B417 classroom with desktop computers.
It is advised that the students bring their own Laptops in order not to rely on the desktops which are becoming outdated/slow.
This way, it will also be easier for the students to take the code prepared in the lab to home (and keep working on them).
Students will need Xilinx ISE 14.7 Webpack (free) installed on their computers. Since we have Spartan 3E Starter Kits in the lab, this is the only IDE that will work on the boards.
We will not be using Vivado, Quartus etc. unless you have your own FPGA board with different FPGA.
