Dr. Yuksel and Dr. Coskun visited South Korea.
Dr. Yuksel and Dr. Coskun had a business trip to South Korea at the beginning of September. They visited Professor Seung Hwan Ko at Seoul National University (SNU). They also had a chance to meet Prof. Ko's research group and see the research laboratories.
After Seoul, Dr. Yuksel and Dr. Coskun arrived in Daejeon to meet with Prof. Sang Ouk Kim and his research group at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). As you may remember, our bilateral project, "2DFiberZIB" was accepted to be funded by the TUBITAK and Korean NRF. This project uses 2D materials to fabricate 1D structures for Zn-ion batteries, and we collaborate with Prof. Sang Ouk Kim's research team. Dr. Yuksel and Dr. Coskun delivered invited talks to Prof. Kim's group during their visit to KAIST, and they also had a special lab session with Prof. Kim's graduate students related to the joint projects.
We want to thank Prof.Ko and Prof. Kim for their great hospitality and pleasant cooperation. And we look forward to seeing them at ESOGU.
